Not suitable for bare wood! By: Lin Tripp, on June 11, 2018 Pros: Cons: "Please don't be fooled as I was! It is not suitable for bare wood as stated in the product description. I painted it on bare wood - 3 coats in fact and has started to peel and 'scratch' off in a matter of days. When you read the instructions on the tin (in very small writing), it tells you to use 2 coats of THEIR undercoat first, so not suitable for bare wood at all!! Trust me not to read the tin first! |

Not what I would expect from a brand make By: Wulf V, on August 9, 2016 Pros: Cons: "I agree in part with some of the other reviews. It is not easy to apply-thinner than it should be for a brand make (it drips everywhere) and despite what the advertising blurb tells you, you can't apply it to bare wood: you need a primer. Indeed when you read the tin it is clear that it requires 2 coats of primer-undercoat as well as 2 coats of satin. If I had known this at the time then I would not have purchased it! |
