Very handy saw kit By: L. F. L, on February 10, 2018 Pros: Cons: "Used on recent project, suspect this would not stand up to regular or robust use, but yet to see. Found that nut didn't lock saw in place and on first use it moved, however, thanks to a previous review, I remembered they mentioned to use the cardboard spacer (part of the packaging) and this worked perfectly. Not ideal ! For the occasional handyman, a useful addition to your tool bag. |

Not worth the money By: S. Schmandin, on August 14, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Initially bouyed by J Rodger's tip on keeping the cardboard spacer (I'd already bought the product elsewhere), I find that the blades still slip as the ratchet that keeps the blade in place is plastic and just gets torn to peices. This means that you end up having to hold the tool with one hand on the handle and the other holding the blade to keep it in place. I recommend spending half the amount on a basic saw, or double the amount on a scorpion saw which I've not gone for instead and wouldn't... |
