OK for the price but tedious. By: Nigel Witham, on January 1, 2015 Pros: Cons: "Probably the cheapest tool that will do the job but long hard pumping is required with viscous GL4 and GL5 gear oils even when they've been warmed by immersing the bottle in hot water first. I estimate that each pump action transfers about 10cc of fluid (or 100 pump actions per litre) so this is ok if you're not in a hurry or if you want a serious arm work out. I had two differentials and a transfer box to fill with 8 litres of gear oil and succeeded but I'll buy a (more expensive) compressor... |
