Hard as nails, well shaped and well priced. By: JustPoo, on June 28, 2018 Pros: Cons: "This handle will last for years, it's rock hard. It's well contoured and the business end is just right for fitting. You can't go wrong for this money, if you like hickory handles then this'll do the trick nicely. |

Hammer shaft By: MajorFisher, on October 21, 2014 Pros: Cons: "A good quality handle, feels right in the hand and absorbs the shocks well. The hickory is tightly grained and the finish good and smooth. I fitted it to a small mini pick/mattock with epoxy resin and small wooden wedges and then drove in metal wedges after the epoxy had set. The head has never moved even after some really hard punishment. The new handle has turned tool originally fitted with a handle too short for my liking into a simply excellently useful item. |
