The flat battery base makes it very stable when working and the swivel head allows you to have the light focused where you need it. Seems quite robust, but I haven't dropped it yet. The only drawback I can see is where do you get the xenon replacement lamps from- not many Ryobi dealers stock them, Amazon don't as far as I can see, in fact the Amazon description ignores the lamp totally - is this a sore point?
